Worship
SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP
We come together as a local church to worship God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — through prayer, singing, reading of the scriptures, and the
expository preaching of God’s Word.
The service is traditional, but includes some solid contemporary songs
to blend with the message, and the use of both piano and guitar to encourage a modern audience to better
participate. Our time begins with the singing of choruses and praise songs at 10:20
am. in preparation, followed by the worship service
itself at 10:30. In corporate worship, our focus is always on God alone, to
glorify His name and sovereign power, and to acknowledge the redemptive work of the Lord Jesus
Christ, thereby also encouraging believers to serve Him in the church and in the
world by the Holy Spirit.
Nursery and Toddler care is provided.
SUNDAY EVENING SERVICE
The 6:00 pm. service is more informal, combining prayer, testimonies, singing, and
a study from God's Word.
The congregation is more free to ask questions and request favorite
hymns and choruses. Once a month, we usually show a movie with Christian
content to bring families together.
COMMUNION AND BAPTISM
The Lord’s Supper is celebrated the first week of the month to commemorate the
cross work of our Savior, Jesus Christ. By this, we remember His death and proclaim His return.
Following the service, we gather together for a fellowship lunch in
order to demonstrate and enjoy our unity. When appropriate, we also take
the opportunity to celebrate the new life God gives to a believer who wishes to publicly testify of His grace through water baptism by immersion.
ACCESSIBILITY
The sanctuary is on the ground floor, and an elevator provides access
to other levels. Also, hearing aids and a wheelchair are available. Our
facilities are Air Conditioned.
RECORDINGS
The worship services are recorded and audio tapes can
be requested.
