2007 VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
COMPLETED
Mark Catlin directed another fun summer program, August 13 to 17, 2007,
in the evenings. We did "Get Your Race On." A
block party cookout was held on June 30 to extend the invitation
to our neighbors, and second one the Sat. before VBS began. Then the
kids demonstrated what the learned to their parents at a closing program
the last Sunday,
Aug. 19, in the evening. 2006 BACK YARD BIBLE CLUBS
COMPLETED
This summer. July 17 to 20, the Chapel Choir of Dawson Memorial Baptist
Church in Birmingham, Alabama (a team of 128 teens and leaders), came to
Lynn to assist us with hosting a different kind of VBS
experience. Nine sites were selected where member families hosted individual clubs at their homes,
including a larger
program at the church itself, for a total of about 120 kids. We closed off the week with a
Block Party cookout and concert at the church for all on Thursday
evening with over 300 showing up. You can also check out the Dawson
youth web page for their photos. We also personally visited the new families to invite them to join us for
worship and bring their children back for Sunday School this fall.

 2005 VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
COMPLETED
We completed last year's Faith Expedition program with an average of 70 kids out each
night and a total of 85 registered and attending. The children
demonstrated the songs they learned and bible verses they memorized
at a closing program Friday night, followed by a snack fellowship
for all downstairs; over 150 came out to share in this time. This
year, the theme was that of
exploring the great stories of faith and deliverance in the Bible
to
understand God's plan for our own kid's lives. Our deepest thanks go
to this year's Director, Jen DeFeo, for all her hard work and
attention, as well as to all our volunteers who donated their time
to bring the Word of God to so many children. We continue to pray
God will do a work in each heart and in those of their parents.
