Vacation Bible School

2011 VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL COMPLETED
A beach theme was selected, running from July 25 to 29, with a cookout and block party set to kick it off on Sat. afternoon.  Director Susan DeAngelis ran the program again.

2010 VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL COMPLETED
We finished another fun summer program -- Studio Go! with a game show theme --  August 9 to 13 in the mornings. Our yearly cookout and block party kicked things off on Sat. afternoon, Aug. 7. Director Susan DeAngelis and our volunteers did a great job. Closing program, Sun., Aug. 15, at 4:30 at the church.

2009 VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL COMPLETED
We wrapped up another fun program this summer, August 10-14. Our yearly cookout and block party was held on Sat. afternoon, Aug. 8, and the program ran Mon. to Fri. in the mornings, 8:30 to 11:30 am. The theme was "Kingdom of the Son," which develops a safari theme around the truth of the Lord's Prayer. About 50 kids took part, and we celebrated with a closing program and pizza part with 100 folks on the Sunday afternoon following.

2008 VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL COMPLETED
We enjoyed another successful program with morning sessions for the kids running Mon. to Fri., Aug. 11 to 15, and held a closing program on Sun. afternoon, Aug. 17. This was another great opportunity to reach out and encourage the little ones, especially the 62 who attended this year. Our thanks go to all our members who gave of their time and their lives to help pull the program off this summer.

2007 VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL COMPLETED
Mark Catlin directed another fun summer program, August 13 to 17, 2007, in the evenings. We did "Get Your Race On." A block party cookout was held on June 30 to extend the invitation to our neighbors, and second one the Sat. before VBS began. Then the kids demonstrated what the learned to their parents at a closing program the last Sunday, Aug. 19, in the evening.
